Job description

About the Role:

As a Computer Operator this position will be responsible for monitoring the activities of a large-scale data center. His or her responsibilities will range from performing first response to system failures/problems to investigating and resolving operational issues across a variety of computing environments including online and batch applications. This position may include off shift hours, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required. Associates Degree (IT related field) preferred.
  • Three plus (3+) years of IT experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Print Server experience preferred. LRS Enterprise Output Server experience preferred.
  • ITIL certifications preferred.
  • LRS/Microsoft Print Server Software preferred. WCC (AutoSys) Software preferred. IBM JCL, Utilities and supporting third party software preferred.
  • UNIX and Windows commands and Utilities preferred.
