IPS is a state-funded, non-profit organization that specializes in the provision of outpatient clinical services for those negatively associated with the criminal justice system. Using empirically validated and evidence-based treatment, IPS strives to ensure the highest level of care for our clients. IPS’ mission is to positively affect change by offering clinical and educational services that assist in reducing adult offender recidivism.

IPS is seeking individuals that are passionate about helping those that struggle with mental illness, substance abuse, homelessness, and forensically involved clientele. We are currently seeking a Professional Support Generalist to join our team.

Duties/Responsibilities

The Professional Support Specialist  (Medical Receptionist) duties will include completing medical, communication, and professional support tasks that are in need of additional support. This position will require the individual to fulfill the role of a third intake specialist. This involves being responsible for all necessary supporting financial documents and updates. You will be required to be secondary in availability and competent with managing clinic flow, to successfully respond as a backup phone receptionist, and primary on relapse autopsy and ACS communication. The duties will include DAL coverage, treatment schedule adjustment, and sweat patch report coverage. In reference to medical support she will be the third in line for drug patch applications and will; be considered secondary on completing UDS when needed.

  • Previous Intake/Customer Service/Phone Receptionist experience, preferred

  • Previous Medical office experience preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. IN PERSON
