LEVEL 3 VEHICLE OPERATOR
Autonomous Vehicle Safety Driver
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: $29.00 Per Hour + Shift Bonuses
Schedule: Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available
Work Type: On-Site

We are hiring Level 3 Vehicle Operators to support autonomous vehicle testing, safety operations, and vehicle readiness in real-world driving environments. This position is ideal for safety-focused drivers with strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to remain attentive for extended driving periods.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
β€’ Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles in public road environments
β€’ Drive 4-8 hours daily with a strong focus on safety and awareness
β€’ Perform vehicle readiness inspections and preventative maintenance checks
β€’ Conduct basic software and hardware operation tasks
β€’ Support vehicle testing, logistics, and operational missions
β€’ Provide detailed written and verbal feedback to engineering teams
β€’ Assist with documentation, reporting, and performance metrics
β€’ Help maintain vehicle cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
β€’ Support movement and storage of vehicles and equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
β€’ Excellent driving history and safe driving habits
β€’ Ability to drive for long periods while remaining attentive and professional
β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β€’ Basic technical troubleshooting and software operation skills
β€’ Ability to follow procedures and work in fast-paced operational environments
β€’ Clean background and driving record required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
β€’ Experience in delivery driving, rideshare, transportation, logistics, or fleet operations
β€’ Military, technical, or operations experience
β€’ BS/BA Degree or equivalent technical experience

PAY & SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS
Base Pay: $29.00 Per Hour
Additional Shift Bonuses Available:
β€’ Weekend Shifts: +5% Per Hour
β€’ Night Shifts Starting After 1 PM: +2% Per Hour
β€’ Weekend Night Shifts: Up to +7% Total Bonus Pay
