Job description

Summary
Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff model HMO, is seeking an APRN with an Autonomous Practitioner License. The Advanced Practice Provider shall provide necessary and appropriate family medicine services, within the scope of the Advanced Practice Provider's training and experience.
• Deliver patient-centered, compassionate care
• Continuously enhance clinical knowledge
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Complete documentation, billing, and coding as required by healthcare regulations and standards
• Attend staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Epic experience preferred
• Great Customer Service and Communication skills with patients
Qualifications
• APRN Autonomous Practitioner License
• DEA License
• Minimum 3 years' post licensing experience, working independently, in family medicine, urgent care clinics or a combination
• Graduate of an accredited program, APRN program
