Robot Support Engineer

Location :: Troy, MI

Duration:: Long Term Contract


Visa Status :: Only Independent Visa


Robot Support Engineer opening in Troy, MI, focused on supporting autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in manufacturing environments. The current posting emphasizes robot setup, waypoint/map configuration, software troubleshooting, process creation, plant support, and frequent travel.

Key Requirements
  • 2–5 years of robotics/automation/controls or related engineering experience.
  • On-site in Troy, MI with 50–75% travel to manufacturing plants; travel expenses are paid.
  • Experience with AMR/robot setup, commissioning, navigation, waypoints, maps and paths.
  • Strong software/system debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Manufacturing/plant-floor experience and ability to work directly with plant engineers.
  • Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls, Robotics or related educational background.
