Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose transmission issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform repairs and rebuilds on both automatic and manual transmissions to manufacturer specifications.
  • Program and calibrate transmission control modules as required.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the reliability and safety of transmission systems.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to provide accurate assessments and timelines for repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited trade school program in automotive technology or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automotive transmission repair.
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding both automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Proficiency with transmission diagnostic and programming tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
