Job Description
As a BMW Technician at BMW of Peoria, you will be at the forefront of automotive innovation, responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance on both customer and dealership vehicles. You'll work with cutting-edge diagnostic technologies and be part of a highly skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and carry out repair orders as dispatched.
  • Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to accurately determine repair needs.
  • Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for required repairs.
  • Execute high-quality, efficient repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, following BMW Center and Factory standards.
  • Conduct Quality Control checks to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for repair services.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, and ensure accountability for both dealership and personal tools.
  • Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Participate in continuous BMW proprietary training to enhance skills and stay updated on BMW's industry-leading technologies and processes.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that align with our company values in all interactions.

Qualifications
  • About You
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Own a valid driver's license.
  • At least 5+ years previous of hands on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivelant.
  • Previous European automotive technician experience a plus
  • ASE certifications a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, MVR check, and maintenance of a valid driver's license.
