Service Technician, European Automotive

Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software and electrical systems. Compensation:

$30 - $45 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
  • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships
  • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
  • Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
  • Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes

Qualifications:
  • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
  • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
  • GED or high school diploma is mandatory
  • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus
