Overview:

As an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and the service team—playing a key role in delivering an exceptionalcustomer experience while driving sales and service growth. You’ll be responsible for building trust with customers, identifying their vehicle needs, and confidently recommending services that keep them safe on the road.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming and trustworthy experience
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests
  • Perform walkarounds and vehicle inspections to identify additional service opportunities
  • Present service recommendations clearly and confidently, with a strong focus on value and safety
  • Build estimates, sell recommended services, and close sales effectively
  • Communicate repair timelines, updates, and results with customers throughout the service process
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of work
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals and performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate records, invoices, and documentation in shop management systems
  • Support shop operations and assist with additional duties as needed
What You'll Bring with You:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor, Writer, or in a customer-facing automotive sales role
  • Proven ability to sell services and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong understanding of automotive services, maintenance, and repairs
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with POS systems, digital inspections, and shop management software preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic shop environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
