Job Summary
We are looking for a Auto Mechanic to join our experienced team due to our growth. We have a CLEAN FULLY AIR CONDITIONED workshop, 5 star reviews and are family owned with the owner on site. We take great pride in the work we do for our customers, offering honesty and quality at a fair price. We value our employees and pride ourselves on a feel good atmosphere. Our employees have been with us for a long time and we have very little turn over. We work on European, Domestic and Asian vehicles with 50% being European. You will be responsible for trouble shooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. You have knowledge of mechanical and electric systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills to relay information to the service writer. European vehicle Experience is a plus.
Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicle engine, mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain
  • Conduct routine maintenance to factory schedules and quirements.
  • Repair or replace broken parts and fix issues
  • Provide accurate information for a repair or maintenance requirements
  • Maintain your work area, equipment and tools in good clean working condition
Skills

  • Proven experience as auto mechanic-European Experience a plus
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
  • Excellent physical condition
  • High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
  • Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
  • Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are required
  • Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
