Pritchard Companies is looking for a motivated Technician C to join our service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in automotive service while working alongside experienced technicians in a professional, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid services, battery service, wiper blade replacement, and tire rotations
  • Complete basic vehicle inspections and document findings accurately
  • Mount, balance, repair, and service tires
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle setup/teardown tasks
  • Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment under guidance
  • Move customer vehicles safely throughout the service process
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Follow repair orders, timekeeping procedures, and parts processes accurately
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding vehicle status and repair needs
  • Support inventory management for shop tools, materials, and supplies
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
  • Assist with additional duties as needed to support shop operations

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of automotive or repair shop experience (internship, co-op, or vocational experience welcomed)
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and routine maintenance procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Dependable work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, lifts, tire equipment, and basic shop tools
  • Ability to follow repair documentation, safety procedures, and timekeeping requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive coursework, technical school training, or vocational education
  • ASE Entry-Level Certification(s)
  • Willingness to obtain ASE certifications within the first 12 months of employment
