Job Purpose
The Systems Engineer, Infotainment will be responsible for the Infotainment system requirement definition, integration and validation.
Responsibilities (80s of the Position)
  • Write and manage vehicle, systems and component requirements related to Infotainment using Polarion
  • Work with UI/UX team to document, integrate and test change requests
  • Coordinate with manufacturing on electrical device testing and End of Line vehicle testing
  • Assist in designing vehicle features and interface between vehicle components
  • Manage and update vehicle communication files (ARXML, DBC, etc.

Required Experience
  • BS in a relevant engineering discipline with 2+ years of infotainment experience.
  • Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols - CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.
  • Experience with Infotainment system development and testing
  • Experience with Vector tools (Canalyzer, Canape, Canoe, etc.)
  • Experience root causing electrical and software related issues

Preferred Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Automotive industry
  • Experience with Linux, Android and RTOS systems
  • Strong knowledge of ARXML and LDF files
  • Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR
  • Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet
  • Experience with System Desk, candb++, Bitbucket (or similar)3
  • Experience with connected vehicles or IoT devices.
  • Experience with mobile app development - Android, iOS
  • Experience working on TCP/IP networking, communication protocols and distributed systems

Travel Requirements
  • Up to 10% travel depending on program phase.
