The General Service Center of Laurel, powered by Easterns Automotive Group, is actively seeking enthusiastic and experienced Automotive Technicians to join our high-volume Service Center team in Laurel. This role is ideal for motivated technicians who want to advance their automotive career in a fast-paced professional shop environment.

As an Experienced Technician, you will perform routine maintenance, brake and tire service, diagnostics, repairs, and road testing to ensure vehicles are serviced safely and efficiently. Our service center is equipped with modern tools and technology, and we provide ongoing training to support your continued growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, rotate tires, and top-off fluids
• Conduct brake, tire, and safety inspections; document results using electronic/video MPI systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform both minor and major repairs
• Road-test vehicles to confirm service quality and verify repairs
• Replace components such as brakes, batteries, belts, lights, and other wear items
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all shop safety procedures
• Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately and legibly
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service


Qualifications

Prior automotive technician experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
• Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
