BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas or messages and create visually impactful representations, in both print and electronic media. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design trends, software, and skilled in efficient design process from concept to the final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams at PASA, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a visual design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the goals of the ask, with the ability to deliver compelling story through visual elements in timely manner.
SCOPE AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW:
Four-year College Degree in Creative Design (Graphic Design, User Interface Design, User Experience or similar discipline) in terms of Design, and a minimum of Four years of work experience with GX Design with Illustration, Product, Transportation, or Marketing Design.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience with graphic design and strong portfolio of various design projects
Experience with Human Centered Design process and strong understanding of its concept and best practices
Experience with PowerPoint presentations and storytelling through illustrations, Photo-editing, Sketching, Storyboarding
Experience (5+years) with Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator & Photoshop and other design relevant software
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Growth minded, Self-Motivated, Problem Solving aptitude, Multi-tasking, Holds accountability, Strong collaborator, Customer/User Focused, Friendly, Ability to elicit requirements from internal/external customers
