Job description

Job Summary:
Gerdau North America is seeking an Energy Data & Reporting Analyst to support decision-making and efficiency improvements through energy-related data analysis. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and presenting energy data, while collaborating with various departments to enhance energy management reporting systems.
Responsibilities:
• Gather energy data from internal systems, SAP, utility invoices, and external sources; maintain and update databases and associated dashboards and Power BI.
• Perform statistical and predictive modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for energy management; assist Energy Team with forecasts and performance.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Databricks, other), and visualizations for internal business stakeholder presentations.
• Work with Energy Team, project managers, IT, accounting, finance and other departments to integrate data into energy management reporting systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field jobs.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, data modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools, Power BI, Databricks, others.
• Experience with energy coefficients, conversion and calculations.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of energy terms and calculations, markets, regulations, and REC markets.
