Job description

Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting is seeking an individual who is self-motivated with a passion for success to join our growing team as Sales Estimator!


Sales Manager/Estimator Skills:

  • Generate and capture sales leads
  • Working to attain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales objectives of the center as defined by management
  • Conduct a full inspection of the vehicle
  • Record any damage discovered within the vehicle, such as dents, broken glass or mechanical issues
  • Determine an estimate for repair costs based on the total amount of damage and the type of damage
  • Calculate how much of the repairs the insurance policy covers
  • Discuss repair options with the customer
  • Explain to customers how they determined the total repair costs
  • Order and process parts per the repair guidelines
  • Review repair orders with technicians as necessary
  • Managing vehicles intake check-in; ascertaining paint formulas, ensuring it accompanies the Repair Order, and marking vehicles and repair orders clearly to assure accurate and complete communication with shop staff
  • Analyze collision and/or paint damaged vehicles to create a repair plan and cost
  • Assist the GM in overseeing the day to day operations of the front office and the shop
  • Update customers on the repair status of their vehicle with frequent and accurate information
  • Working collaboratively with Production staff to achieve efficiency and quality standards


Sales Manager/Estimator Requirements:

  • Customer service focused
  • I-Car Certification is a plus
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Self-driven with a desire to earn money based on performance
  • Experience with CCC1 and like estimating programs preferable
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers
  • Ability to autonomously multitask, prioritize and complete duties in a timely manner

**Pay is base salary plus a quarterly UNCAPPED bonus program based on sales**
