Job description

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating machines in a high-volume production area in the automotive manufacturing department.
Hours: Second Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM ET (subject to change if necessary)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
  • Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
  • Operates machinery in a high-volume production area.
  • Loads/unloads small parts to and from machines.
  • Inspects parts to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Performs preventative equipment maintenance as required.
  • Abides by TS16949 processes and procedures as dictated by the Quality Procedures Manual.
  • Recommends ideas to assist in the implementation of quality and improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
