Job description

Automation Services, an Ovation Holdings company, is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Instrumentation Test Technician to join our team in Earth City, Missouri.
This position is responsible for testing industrial process control instrumentation using pressure calibrators, gauges, and other testing equipment to verify proper operation and ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and an interest in industrial instrumentation and automation.
Responsibilities:
  • Test process control instrumentation using pressure calibrators, gauges, and other testing equipment.
  • Verify instruments are functioning properly and within manufacturer specifications.
  • Identify equipment that does not meet required testing standards or tolerances.
  • Properly handle instrumentation and materials to prevent damage.
  • Accurately document testing results and equipment status.
  • Utilize the company's automated inventory control system.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and testing procedures.
  • Work closely with the Testing Lead, Warehouse Manager, Teardown Supervisor, and processing personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • General computer/PC skills.
  • Ability to learn company-specific software and inventory systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of process controls and industrial instrumentation preferred.
  • Previous experience with testing, calibration, or measurement equipment preferred.
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
