Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the clientโ€™s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases and test scenarios based on business and system requirements.
  2. Analyze test results, identify defects, document findings, and coordinate defect resolution with development and functional teams.
  3. Perform database validation, regression testing, data verification, and support testing activities across application releases.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality, maintain testing documentation, and support continuous process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Minimum 4โ€“5 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end functional testing, test case development, defect management, and software quality assurance.

Technical Skills

Functional Testing, Test Case Design, Test Execution, Oracle SQL, Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), HP ALM/Quality Center (QC), Defect Management, SDLC/STLC

Business / Domain Skills

Requirements Analysis, Business Process Validation, Data Conversion Testing, Regression Testing, Stakeholder Collaboration, Public Sector Applications

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
