A respected mechanical and building automation contractor is seeking a skilled Controls Service Technician to join their automation service team in Atlanta, GA. Position Details:
  • Title: Controls Service Technician
  • Location: Atlanta, GA
  • Compensation: Up to $45/hr (flexible; top-tier candidates may qualify for $50/hr)
  • Performance Review: Annual, with typical 3-5% raise potential

Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, service, and repair building automation and energy management systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and adjust BAS programs for commercial and industrial clients.
  • Perform point-to-point testing, commissioning procedures, and system validation.
  • Integrate, configure, and optimize control systems to ensure efficient building operation.
  • Support installation teams with equipment start-up, wiring, and system terminations.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Hands-on experience as a Controls Service Technician or related BAS role.
  • Strong technical background in BAS troubleshooting, programming, and system optimization.
  • Experience rewriting sequences, commissioning automation systems, and validating operations.
  • Familiarity with Tridium/Niagara and the ability to integrate multiple BAS platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
