CATEGORY/LEVEL: Faculty (9-monthcontract)

BASIC FUNCTION: The Industrial Automation & RoboticsInstructor is responsible for teaching courses in industrial robotics,automation systems, electrical and electronic principles, programmable logiccontrollers (PLCs), and related technologies; facilitating student learning andsuccess; and developing curriculum and instructional strategies that meet theneeds of students, industry partners, and the regional manufacturing sector.Instruction will be delivered across multiple modalities and pedagogicalapproaches, including classroom-based teaching and experiential, hands-onlaboratory learning. In consultation with the Dean, the instructor will overseelab, equipment, and project activities, ensuring effective support for dailyoperations and safe, efficient use of technology and tools. The instructor willalso support program initiatives such as community outreach, studentrecruitment, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with industrypartners.
