Low Voltage Installation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Installation Manager to lead our installation team and oversee the successful execution of residential and commercial lighting projects.

Position Summary

The Low Voltage Installation Supervisor is responsible for leading daily installation activities, supporting technician development, coordinating project schedules, and ensuring high-quality customer experiences. This role is ideal for an experienced installer who is ready to take the next step into leadership and grow within a rapidly expanding organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and hands-on experience in low voltage lighting or related industries. This position requires someone who can effectively manage people, projects, equipment, materials, and customer expectations while fostering a positive team culture.

This role plays a critical part in the continued growth and success of the American Lightscapes division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily installation operations.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and develop installation technicians.
  • Coordinate installation schedules, manpower, and project timelines.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within company quality standards.
  • Conduct jobsite inspections and quality assurance reviews.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers before, during, and after installations.
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage installation materials, inventory, tools, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot field installation challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management of installation personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry best practices.
  • Monitor project profitability, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.
  • Support the growth and development of the American Lightscapes brand throughout Southwest Florida.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in low-voltage lighting, irrigation, security systems, outdoor electrical systems, or a related field. Previous leadership, crew lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, crew lead, or project management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage systems, wiring methods, transformers, LED fixtures, and installation practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans, lighting plans, project specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience troubleshooting low voltage systems and field installation challenges.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, scheduling software, and project management tools.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as required.
