About the Role
This position is responsible for creating the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. We are looking for someone with the right combination of conceptual approach, self-motivation, and technical skills necessary to provide management support. Also have the ability to prepare, manage and interface with our Engineers and communicate with our clients.
You will be instrumental in supporting a variety of our client's automation needs and assignments across a wide range of facilities in North America. CSI is all about providing solutions to our client's problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Educate customers on capabilities, products, and strengths
  • New business development
  • Negotiate and verify the completeness, accuracy, and acceptability of purchase orders and contracts
  • Support product development process
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers
  • Seek out and contact assigned/potential customers for the purpose of attaining sales of current services and products.
  • Coordinate projects within cross functional teams with the goal of delivering a product from concept to mass production.
  • Collaborate with sales/marketing to understand customer requirements, promote the sale of company products and provide support.
  • Monitoring all aspects of the programs to ensure development within the timeframe of customer request.
  • Plan and modify product/services to meet customer needs.
  • Working with our engineering department to ensure proper product development in a certain time frame.
  • Generate business progress and update reports for the customer and our organization
  • Be on-site at customer location to review requests and trouble shoot problems as needed.
  • Modify assignments in accordance with the schedule and budget.
Qualifications:
  • Electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques and codes.
  • Self-motivation with proven ability in problem solving, especially in intense situations.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be able to maintain contact with service technicians, engineers, and customer for support
  • Be able to develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
  • Able to recommend material improvements of machinery to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with account management
  • 2-4 years of experience leading projects for a team executing controls-based systems and/or electrical installations
  • Automation experience in the material handling industry and a strong project management background
  • Technical background or experience in automotive electronic products
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services
