    Job Description

    Job Descriptionย 
    ย ย ย  Design, Develop, Deploy and Test automation solutions using Emerson Syncade Manufacturing Execution System.
    ย ย ย  Act as a Subject Matter Expert for MES configuration items.
    ย ย ย  Act as a change owner, and champion completing MES-related changes
    ย ย ย  Lead cross functional meetings to gather requirements, scope, and business rationale for MES-related projects.
    ย ย ย  Communicate proactively with peers, project resources and management - highlighting issues, proposing solutions, and escalating challenges.
    ย ย ย  Bachelor s degree in Chemical/Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
    ย ย ย  Minimum four (4) years of design/development/deployment experience in Emerson Syncade MES.
    ย ย ย  Thorough understanding of ISA S88 and S95 models.
    ย ย ย  Hands-on experience in Distributed Control Systems such as Emerson DeltaV is preferred.
    ย ย ย  Knowledge of CSV, GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
    ย ย ย  Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
    ย ย ย  Ability to work within a team, lead cross-functional teams, and work independently in dynamic environments.
    ย ย ย  Project engineering experience or equivalent education/certification is a plus.

    Qualifications

    Manager' Notes:
    THIS IS A SENIOR MES ENGINEER-- minimum of 4 years' experience is needed.
    Questions in order of priority:
    1. Does the candidate have DeltaV Batch programming or Syncade Recipe development experience?
    2. Has the candidate worked in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Life Sciences or other GMP-based environment?
    3. Does the candidate have experience leading or participating in capital projects?
    4. Does the candidate have good oral and written communication skills - good enough to articulate technical details to non-technical audience?
    5. Is the candidate available for a 6-month or longer contract?
