Contract Details : Job Title : Industrial Manager Batteries Type of contract : Long-term At-will Location : Troy, MI Scope : Americas Region Responsibilities : Management of the Industrial team or creation of the team as business ramps up Drive continuous improvement, new technology, technical modifications in closed collaboration with Operation. Drive industrialization of new project including, new building, utilities management Responsible of the Capex budget Prepare team to seamlessly launch process, including placing MD in facility on permanent basis Elaborate Industrial Road map and ensure action plans are followed. Lead new building, extension and all technical items needed for the business development. Lead all technical items needed for the Operation Improvement Ensures Industrialization of new project with team in order to respect Cost, Timing and quality target. Ensure that equipment is fully respected the safety rules Team to spend 50% of time in Plant Propose and follow technical improvement in operation (KGP). Define with operation Improvement Road map on a yearly basis. Ensure support to production into improvement plan realization. Ensure support to production during ramp up phase of new project. Responsible to build a team as per business needs, supervise and develop direct reports. Plan to organically grow automation, welding and EOL test expertise related to battery pack line Leads objective setting and assessment process of his/her team. Must comply with all rules, policies and procedures. Must comply with all safety rules and regulations. Coordinate Lean Manufacturing training and activities. Ensure and Coordinate with operation training of the technical people into the plant As member of the industrial team: Facilitate inter-plant and department communication and training to ensure cross plant transfer of experience and information. Capitalizes learnings and fosters exchanges on identified best practices. Actively participate in Continuous improvement and corrective action activities. corrective action activities through participation (lead by example) and training of the workforce Responsible to lead the Sustainability and Carbon neutrality activities, road map definition and action plan necessary. Ensure that Machine, building, equipment is fully compliant to safety rules. Ensure that safety training is organized regarding machine and equipment. Build and Follow Yearly capex budget.
