We are hiring a Senior Digital Integration Solutions Field Engineer in Kennewick, or Wenatchee, WA.

In this role, you’ll work directly with customers on-site, playing a hands-on role in delivering advanced power automation solutions. This position offers the opportunity to travel approximately 50% of the time, giving you exposure to a wide range of industries, technologies, and real-world applications.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

This role also offers paid overtime and a company vehicle!

Our Digital Integration Solutions group stands out as a cutting-edge, full-service systems integrator driving the future of power automation. As part of this team, you’ll work alongside talented engineers and technicians who specialize in leading HMI platforms, creating intuitive, visually compelling operator interfaces that leverage the latest standalone and web-based innovations.

You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and manufacturers, working across major OEM HMI systems, PLCs, and network architectures. We pride ourselves on offering single-point accountability and delivering seamless, cost-effective solutions—from advanced HMI development and energy management tools to complete turnkey system design and implementation.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide understanding and technical knowledge to Hyperscale specific implementation of Eaton’s Power Management and mission critical monitoring and control systems including, Foreseer, Iconics, Brightlayer suite and next generation Power Monitoring platforms.
  • Provide applied engineering and consultation to Hyperscale Accounts in the areas of design, system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, training and modification of power management, control, and mission critical systems.
Qualifications:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least 3 years of experience working with/managing installations of Power Management, Power Control, Scada, Mission Critical, or Building Management systems OR in lieu of a degree at least 5 years of experience working with/managing installations of Power Management, Power Control, Scada, Mission Critical, or Building Management systems
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with Hyperscale EPMS or BAS Scopes.
  • This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.
  • All candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Kennewick, WA. No relocation is being offered for this role. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • Anticipated travel for this role can be up to 50%.

POSITION CRITERIA:
  • Successfully complete and maintain compliance with the company’s safety program.
  • Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.
  • In-depth knowledge of Eaton Power Monitoring software (Foreseer & Eaton’s BLI software)
  • Knowledge and Experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) as well as PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers software/hardware and power monitoring software packages.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques.
  • Advanced understanding of the company’s and competitor’s automation and power management systems and services.
  • Computer literacy. Working knowledge of all software packages relevant to successful performance of tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication skills. Skill in communicating technical information to non-technical personnel, educating customers, and presenting information to internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of Networking and Monitoring Devices, Device Protocols, Electrical and Construction Drawings.
  • Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with automation and power management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching/mentoring ability.
