Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Work you'll do/Responsibilities  

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable Python-based automation frameworks and scripts from the ground up to support healthcare claims processing operations.
  • Develop automation solutions that integrate with both Java-based distributed applications, including APIs and microservices, and legacy Mainframe environments through tools such as 3270 emulators and batch processing.
  • Create automated tests and operational workflows for complex claims processes, helping ensure accuracy in adjudication, payment integrity, and compliance.
  • Embed test automation into sprint execution by partnering with delivery teams to support in-sprint validation and CI/CD pipeline readiness.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement Python libraries, testing tools, and supporting frameworks to expand coverage and reduce manual effort.
  • Bridge technical gaps across modern and legacy systems by troubleshooting issues, resolving automation bottlenecks, and improving end-to-end workflow reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with Java developers, Mainframe engineers, product managers, and project leaders to align automation strategy with business and delivery priorities.
  • Document automation architecture, processes, and operating procedures, while mentoring junior engineers and manual testers transitioning to automated methods.

Qualifications 

 Required 

  • 4+ years of experience with Python development including building clean, efficient, and maintainable automation and testing solutions using tools such as PyTest, Robot Framework, and Selenium.
  • Experience automating interactions with Java-based distributed systems, including RESTful APIs, Spring Boot microservices, and messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Mainframe environments, including use of terminal emulators such as Py3270 and handling of flat files and EBCDIC file formats.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and version control practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Git, with success delivering automation in Agile environments.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare claims processing workflows, payment integrity concepts, and compliance considerations such as HIPAA.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
