Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative mining or industrial team, contributing to projects that involve power, automation, and instrumentation systems while working alongside engineers and technical specialists.


 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Prepare electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and load lists 

  • Support engineers in developing and updating design deliverables 

  • Revise drawings based on markups and maintain drawing accuracy 

  • Ensure compliance with standards and coordinate with other disciplines 

  • Assist with documentation and project deliverables


 

What your experience looks like

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related discipline 

  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar drafting/design software 

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems such as power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems 

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control in drawing production 

  • Ability to interpret engineering sketches, redlines, and specifications 

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team 

  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes is an asset

The salary range for this role is between $45K - $50K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
