Job Description

Here's what else you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields preferred. Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles.

5+ years of professional experience in automotive production.

3+ years of experience in Assembly.

3+ years of experience in equipment electric and equipment automation.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Basic technical knowledge in automation technology and/or production systems (e.g. industrial network structures, PLCs and control units, Siemens TIA Portal).

Basic knowledge of production systems in the field of production (e.g. SCADA, Back-up and Recovery systems, MES).

Special skills in electrical designing and specification general assembly equipment, like:

Automotive equipment and automotive conveyors.

Semi-automatic stations like Cockpit installation and similar.

Fully automatic stations like automatic windshield installation, roof system installation filling systems or similar.

Torque data management.

Knowledge in local electrical regulations, guidelines and standards like NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association), NFPA 79 - Electrical Standard for Industrial Machines, NEC (National Electrical Code) and similar.

Desirable skills:

Knowledge about stakeholders and interfaces to the assembly area (like production, IT, shopfloor IT, building, infrastructure, pilot hall, EHS department).

Knowledge in equipment electric planning processes starting from the concept up to the final handover to production.

Ensure production processes and electrical function of equipment according to local regulations and standards.

Fundamental skills in office applications and presenting results to the team, the management or the board.

Skills in web-based applications.

Costumer orientated skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills and Certifications [note: bold skills and certification are required]:

Knowledge in equipment electric planning processes.

Basic technical knowledge in automation technology and/or production systems.

Knowledge in local electrical regulations, guidelines and standards like NEMA, NPFA 79, NEC.

Candidate Details:

5+ to 7 years experience.
