MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a Project Coordinator – Control Systems to play a critical role in coordinating automation and control systems projects from planning through commissioning. In this role, you'll work alongside project managers, controls engineers, operations teams, and customers to ensure projects stay on schedule, documentation is accurate, and milestones are achieved.

What You'll Do

As the Project Coordinator – Control Systems, you'll provide the coordination and administrative support that keeps technical projects moving forward. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate multiple control systems and automation projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, task lists, meeting minutes, testing logs, I/O tracking logs, and status reports.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, commissioning readiness, vendor submittals, invoices, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, technical files, and records within project management and document control systems.
  • Prepare project communications and provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project meetings and facilitate communication between project managers, controls engineers, vendors, finance, operations, and commissioning teams.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively identify risks, documentation gaps, or workflow issues.
  • Support project reporting, dashboards, vendor performance tracking, and cost reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by organizing project documentation and compliance records.
  • Support onboarding of project team members by coordinating project documentation and workflow processes.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance project coordination, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with development of standardized documentation templates, workflows, and best practices.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of project coordination, engineering project support, automation, controls, or related technical project experience.
  • Experience supporting control systems, automation, commissioning, or engineering projects strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Accuracy in data entry, project documentation, and record management.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience using project management software, ERP systems, document management platforms, or similar business systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within industrial, marine, power generation, manufacturing, or automation environments.
  • Familiarity with commissioning activities, testing documentation, and engineering workflows.
  • Experience supporting vendor coordination and project financial tracking.
  • Knowledge of document control systems and technical drawing management.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and workflow optimization.
  • Ability to read and interpret quotes, purchase orders, and basic technical documents.
  • Experience using an ERP system preferred.
