Serves as the technical expert in the maintenance work activities related to automation of facility equipment. Key responsibilities include setup, teardown, troubleshooting and repair of automated, electrical and mechanical systems. Keys to success will be the individual's knowledge of automated manufacturing systems, the skills needed to maintain, repair and troubleshoot those systems, and the ability to effectively interact with fellow team members and internal customers.Automation Tech Position Specific Accountabilities: Ability to troubleshooting and repair the following production systems: Automation systems - Allen Bradley PLC systems Proficient in PLC5, Control Logix, SLCElectrical systems - motor controls, electrical wiring, AC inverters, DC controllers Mechanical systems - pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains and sprockets.
