Job description

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of equipment used during the build and testing of Honeywell accelerometers. This position requires a blend of engineering acumen, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to develop, upgrade, and maintain the equipment.
Responsibilities
1. Automation Development:
- Design and develop automated solutions for various production processes.
- Prepare and execute test plans to validate automation systems.
2. System Maintenance:
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on automation software and hardware.
- Date base maintenance.
3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with higher level engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and maintenance of automation systems within existing processes.
4. Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, system configurations, and procedures.
- Support the development of user manuals and training materials for end-users.
- Create and update standard work as it pertains to equipment usage.
- Create and update webpages for operators to perform job duties.
5. Support Activities:
- Provide technical support for automation equipment.
- Create webpages to support Process Engineering activities.
- Support Process Engineers with Automation Engineering activities.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in electrical / electronic engineering or similar.
  • Experience as an electronic test / automation engineer or similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, automation, robotics, hardware design, software design.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control.
