Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking an experienced Secure Automation Engineer to modernize and strengthen enterprise development tools and services. The successful candidate will focus on automating code analysis, improving application security, and implementing secure-by-design engineering practices across large-scale software environments.
Responsibilities:
• Develop Python-based automation tools to analyze, optimize, and secure enterprise code repositories.
• Modernize legacy Perl applications by migrating them into modern, supported technologies.
• Implement and maintain secure transport standards, including SSH certificates and TLS protocols.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools and automated refactoring platforms to improve development efficiency.
• Enhance application security testing and deployment automation within existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews and champion secure-by-design engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvements across application security and automation infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering and development.
• Advanced proficiency in Python development and scripting languages.
