Job description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for an Operations Support Intern (Video Production) in the Metro Detroit area.

Overall Purpose

Support the creation of video work instructions, and digital enhancements to TRIGO's quality, and operations systems.

Reports to

Director of Operational Excellence

Responsibilities

Client relationship & Business development

  • Assist in collaborating with engineering, operations, and customer teams to gather requirements for inspection solutions.
  • Support digital reporting efforts, including data collection, basic analysis, and integration into quality systems.

Operations

  • Create videos to support operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of automated solutions that enhance inspection speed and accuracy.
  • Support the analysis of inspection data to identify trends, recurring defects, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Train inspectors and technicians to learn system operations and best practices.

Organization & management

  • Provide onsite support for the creation of videos.

Technical

  • Create video clips using software provided by TRIGO.
  • Support the setup and configuration of machine vision system (Cognex) and industrial sensors.
  • Assist with integrating automation into existing inspection processes.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts to improve system accuracy and reduce errors.

  • Any other duties as assigned
