Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:

    • Salary Range: $35.00-$41.00/per hour
    • Responsible formodifyingexisting automation control systems as well as designing, estimating, and commissioning new automation control systems integrated with Robots based on PLC's
    • Implement Safety Category 4 for all required installations,pressesand robotics work cells
    • Integrate equipment with robots and various testing and monitoring instruments
    • Troubleshoot process problems and initiative and/orparticipatein Continuous Improvement initiatives and quality improvements
    • Maintain and service automated work cells; mechanical and hydraulic presses
    • Set up and conduct predictive and preventative maintenance programs for required equipment
    • Perform all work in good standard, respond to off duty calls, and work rotating shifts ifrequired.
    • Follow all work cell and/or department standardized work instructions/procedures.
    • Ensure compliance and enforcement of Customer Specific Requirements, QMS (IATF16949), Health and Safety
    • (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security (PIP) requirements.
    • Perform housekeeping duties tomaintaina clean, safe, and organized work area.
    • Promote andcomply withhealth, safety, and environmental standards, safe operating procedures, good housekeepingpracticesand the observance of protective equipment requirementsat all times.
    • Attend authorized trainingin order todevelop and/ormaintainrelevant job-related knowledge, techniques, skills, and/or certification.
    • May berequiredto carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature.
    • Perform any other reasonable duty asrequiredor assigned by Management

    Qualifications:

    • Post- Secondary education in Robotics / Automation
    • Must have experience in Mig, Stick and Tig welding
    • Good English - both written, verbal and following instructions
    • Good communicationskills
    • Must have PLC programming and Troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley Rs Logix and Studio 5000.
    • Must have experience working with Vision System such as Keyence 2D, 3D and barcode scanners, Cognex camera etc.
    • Must have full understanding of fundamentals in projection welding and Mig welding
    • Able to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated
    • Certification in one or more robot programming courses (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic)
    • Medarprogramming experience
    • Physically fit and able tolift upto 50 lbs.
    • Ability to Create, manipulate and follow robot programs for ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic for repair and modification purposes
