Description:

Innovative-IDM is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Technician Apprentice. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with their hands, following instructions, and learning new technical skills. Apprentice Technicians work alongside experienced team members to assist with the assembly, wiring, and testing of industrial control panels and automation systems. No prior industry experience is required. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use basic hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, and measuring devices.
  • Assist with the assembly of industrial control panels and related equipment.
  • Learn to read and follow work instructions, drawings, schematics, and layout packages.
  • Install electrical and mechanical components under supervision.
  • Route, organize, and label wires and cables.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform basic quality inspections and report issues to supervisors.
  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Support other production and manufacturing activities as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and take on increasing responsibilities.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
  • Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

  • Experience using hand or power tools through work, school, hobbies, automotive projects, construction, or similar activities.
