What does an automated cutting machine operator do?

An Automated Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines that cut materials such as metal, fabric, plastic, or wood according to specifications. They read blueprints or job orders, adjust machine settings, and monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality. Operators also inspect finished products for defects, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues with the machinery to keep production running smoothly.
