Job description

Overviewย 

We're seeking an experienced Solutions leader with an engineering background, customer-facing experience, and a passion for 3D software and metrology to lead this critical team. The Solutions Group plays a key role in ensuring customer success by delivering technical expertise, project execution, and hands-on training for our clients. This role reports to the CEO.ย 

This is a hybrid position,ย meaning thatย you will need to live withinย easyย drivingย distanceย toย our Technology Center inย Columbia, Maryland.ย Travel up to 30% (including international) is expected.ย ย 

Whatย You'llย Doย 

Technical Leadership and Product Integrationย 

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams focused on 3D scene reconstruction, software integrations, and metrology solutions.ย 
  • Develop Python-based solutions on top of Quidient Reality APIs.ย 
  • Write code to integrate Quidient products with 3D software packages (AutoCAD, Blender, etc.).ย 
  • Conduct systems-level testing of Quidient Reality softwareย andย tools.ย 
  • Draft training manuals, and demonstration plans.ย 
  • Represent Quidient at industry events and on technical social platforms (X, Discord, etc.).ย 

Customer Engagement & Solutions Consultingย 

  • Train customers on Quidient Reality tools and APIs.ย 
  • Provide technical support and customer onboarding.ย 
  • Design equipment rigs for on-site presentations and demonstrations.ย 
  • Act as subject matter expert in scene reconstruction, 3D imaging, and photogrammetry. Adaptย referenceย Python code to customer problems.ย 

Team & Business Developmentย 

  • Work closely with business development teams to support sales efforts for defense and commercial engagements.ย 
  • Support project management for customerย engagementsย across defense and commercial sectors.ย 

What You Bringย 

Must-Have Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, orย a relatedย field.ย 
  • 5+ years of experience working with 3D software (AutoCAD, Blender, etc.).ย 
  • 5+ years of experience with script-level software (e.g., Python).ย 
  • Proven experience managingย solutionsย (or equivalent)ย teams.ย 
  • Strong customer-facing experience (presentations, onboarding, troubleshooting).ย 
  • Experience with imaging systems and in-field customer interactions.ย 
  • Willingness to work on-site in Columbia, MD, in a hybrid capacity.ย ย 
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% (including international travel).ย 
  • Meet Quidient, customer, and government security requirements, which may include, but are not limited to a background check, citizenship verification, and Criminal Justice Information Services verification.ย

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:ย 

  • Experience in fast-paced or startup environments.ย
