Job description

Urban is currently seeking qualified candidates with AutoCAD experience for our Survey Department in our Chantilly, VA location.

Urban Ltd. provides full-service civil engineering, transportation engineering, land planning, landscape architecture and surveying services to private and public sector clients throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area.

This role is in office, 5-days a week. The successful candidate should have at least 3-5 years of direct surveying (field) experience as well as, AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reducing and analyzing field data
  • Reading plans and performing quality control checks
  • Preparing construction stakeout computations for utilities, roadways, and buildings
  • Preparation of cut sheets and stakeout maps
  • Preparation of topographic and as-built surveys
