Job description

Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of PLC-based control systems and electrical control panels for material handling systems. This role supports projects from initial design through manufacturing and field implementation by creating electrical schematics, selecting PLC hardware, developing Bills of Materials, supporting panel fabrication, and providing technical support during installation and commissioning.
Working closely with manufacturing, drafting, vendors, and customers, you will ensure control systems are designed in accordance with UL508A and NEC standards while delivering reliable, high-quality automation solutions.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Industrial Control Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of related industry experience if no engineering degree.
  • Experience designing PLC-based control systems.
  • Experience with:
    • Allen-Bradley ControlLogix
    • CompactLogix
    • SLC 500
  • HMI programming experience using Rockwell software.
  • Experience with motion control systems and servo drives.
  • Experience using:
    • AutoCAD Electrical 2018 or newer

  • Work overtime to support project schedules when necessary.
