About the Role

Joyce D Silverman Interiors Inc is looking for a talented AutoCAD Drafter/3D Renderer to join our creative team in Brooklyn, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to bring stunning interior design concepts to life through precise technical drawings and immersive 3D visualizations. If you have a passion for design and a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings for residential and/or commercial interior design projects
  • Create high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients
  • Collaborate with interior designers to translate creative concepts into accurate technical documentation
  • Revise and update drawings based on designer and client feedback
  • Maintain organized project files and ensure drawing standards and accuracy across all deliverables
  • Assist in the development of presentation materials including mood boards and design packages
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with 3D rendering software (3ds Max, SketchUp, V-Ray, or similar) strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in drafting and/or 3D rendering, preferably in an interior design or architecture environment
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and construction documentation
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to produce precise, clean drawings
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
