Auto Detailer – Wallingford Auto Park

Wallingford Auto Park is looking for a motivated and dependable Auto Detailer to join our growing team. If you take pride in your work, have a strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Wash vehicle exteriors using proper cleaning techniques.
  • Clean interior and exterior windows, mirrors, and door jambs.
  • Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dirt and debris.
  • Shampoo and clean upholstery, carpets, floor mats, and interior surfaces.
  • Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic trim using appropriate products.
  • Apply waxes, ceramic/glass coatings, clay bar treatments, and buff painted surfaces to restore showroom-quality finishes.
  • Clean engine compartments using approved cleaning methods and products.
  • Remove contaminants and stains using specialty cleaners while following manufacturer recommendations.
  • Dress tires and wheel wells for a finished appearance.
  • Inspect vehicles for cosmetic damage, missing items, torn upholstery, scratches, dents, or other defects and report findings to management.
  • Ensure every vehicle meets Wallingford Auto Park's quality standards before delivery or display.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear proper eye, hand, and body protection when handling chemicals and detailing equipment.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required.
