Location: Parkway Family Auto Group – Tomball, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

Parkway Family Auto Group is seeking a dependable and versatile Maintenance & Painting Technician to help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our dealership facilities. This position requires experience in both general building maintenance and commercial painting. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works independently, and enjoys a variety of hands-on projects while helping keep our facilities in excellent condition.

ResponsibilitiesMaintenance
  • Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Repair drywall, doors, trim, flooring, ceiling tiles, and other facility components.
  • Complete basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
  • Replace light fixtures, bulbs, and other building hardware.
  • Install shelving, signage, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment.
  • Respond to maintenance requests throughout dealership facilities.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
Painting
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
  • Paint interior and exterior walls, doors, ceilings, trim, and other building surfaces.
  • Apply stains, sealers, and protective coatings as needed.
  • Match paint colors and produce high-quality finishes.
  • Protect surrounding surfaces with proper masking and coverings.
  • Clean and maintain painting equipment after each project.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in commercial painting and general building maintenance required.
  • Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall repair, painting techniques, basic plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.
  • Ability to safely operate ladders, lifts, power tools, and painting equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work and complete projects independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
