Automotive Shop Assistant Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish; Haitian Creole, Portuguese, French, Tagalog, or Vietnamese a plus.
We are hiring a dependable, bilingual Shop Assistant to support our busy auto repair shops. This is a hands-on role for someone who is self-directed, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience and driving record
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers at the front counter in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
  • Process cash and card payments accurately.
  • Pick up and deliver parts from local vendors.
  • Shuttle vehicles between nearby locations, when needed.
  • Assist with shop cleanliness, facilities upkeep, and general organization.
  • Support daily operations with light administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative without constant supervision.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Able to drive between multiple nearby locations as needed.
  • Comfortable staying active throughout the day.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
