America’s Auto Auction (AAA) is a full-service used-vehicle auction services provider that facilitates the wholesale remarketing of used vehicles for (Business to Business) B2B customers, delivering a critical liquidity function to enable the used car sales ecosystem. Based in Carmel, IN, AAA facilitates the selling and buying of used vehicles at physical auction sites across 19 states as well as on digital platforms. The Company’s daily mission is simple and straightforward: to provide high quality service and operational execution for dealers and institutional customers.


The Lot Attendant provides efficiency on the day of the auction. Responsible for moving vehicles either on the lot or to and from other facilities as instructed by the supervisor or AGM.


What You Will Do:

• Responsible for moving vehicles either on the lot or to and from other facilities as instructed by the supervisor or AGM.

• Proactively position vehicles to be moved, so they are in the correct direction.

• Responsible for observing KCI safety policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and safety manual.

• Contributes to and encourages others to demonstrate a team focused, values based service culture throughout the company.

• Contributes to effective operations by providing support where and when as needed on sale/customer promotion dates or any other time as deemed necessary.

• Responsible for maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Other duties as requested or assigned to maintain efficient operations and optimum service levels.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED

• Previous job experience should include customer focused job experience, PC skills, and industry knowledge very helpful.

• Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and math skills are very beneficial.

• The ability to operate a variety of vehicles with different transmissions preferred.

• Some experience in the security field is desired.

• Requires the ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately in the English language.

• Employee must demonstrate the ability to interact tactfully and positively with customers, vendors, AAAKC staff and management.

• The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists will be helpful. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form essential. The ability to use common sense and sound judgment when faced with unusual situations is necessary. The ability to multi-task in this position is essential.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a full background screen.
