District Manager, Automotive Service & Repair, Southern California 

Reports to Market Leader

Compensation: 100K - $135K plus DM Bonus

Requires Retail management experience in the automotive aftermarket industry

 Overview: Our purpose is to provide an extraordinary experience for our customers from minor maintenance services to extensive repairs. We’re providing a dealership experience using superior tools and equipment with top-quality automotive components all performed by professional automotive technicians. Our expertise and customer focus are what make us the authority in automotive care.

Our District Manager supervises and oversees the operations of retail repair shops within a certain region. Their main duties include hiring and training store managers, collaborating with managers to set goals for each store and communicating and enforcing customer policies to managers and team members. Ensuring quality consistency across the district and increasing sales and profitability in their area.

Location: Southern California - field position, traveling between approximately 10 locations

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reaching financial objectives

  • Adhering to company policies and local, state and federal laws
  • Training team members
  • Addressing performance issues that affect profits in order of priority
  • Coaching other managers
  • Resolving customer concerns using excellent customer service skills
  • Developing business strategies for revenue growth Inventory control

Qualifications:

  • Auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry
  • Previous experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication; business development and strategy implementation knowledge
  • Problem-solving using analytical, creative, and critical-thinking skills
  • Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in business operations
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not required
  • Possess valid California driver’s license
  • Ability to work a minimum of five days, Monday-Friday
