If you’re enthusiastic about an exciting career in the automotive industry, this may be the job for you! An Smog Repair and Service Technician must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record. This position requires the ability to work well with others, drive manual transmission vehicles and the ability to meet the company’s production and quality standards. We want to find a candidate who will contribute to an overall great customer experience. This position requires no prior experience. Our customers entrust us with their vehicles and attention to detail is a must. This position may require Saturday availability. 

  • Achieve performance goals that are consistent with company standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Performs smog services in a professional manner and performs vehicle inspections as required
  • Conduct safety inspections according to dealer requirements
  • Conduct wheel alignment and balancing as needed.
  • Set goals, develop skills and constantly increase efficiency skill level.
  • Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
  • Work evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service for all customers whether external and internal, specifically offering dependable vehicle service.
  • Maintains equipment in good working condition and maintains the work area in a safe, clean and organized manner.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized.
  • Make sure the proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion.
  • Keep your technical qualifications current by finishing any required training programs.
  • Current License for Smog and Repair
  • 2+ years of experience as a Smog and Repair Tech
  • Ability to utilize time effectively.
