About LMW Auto Repair

LMW Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Automotive Technician across three Maryland locations.

If you're the tech who gets the difficult electrical, drivability, and mechanical problems, this role lets you spend 60%โ€“70% of your time on diagnostics and advanced repairs. Service Advisors handle parts ordering so you can stay focused on the work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns
  • Perform engine and advanced mechanical repairs
  • Repair steering, suspension, and brake systems
  • Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
  • Document findings and verify completed repairs

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Advanced diagnostic, electrical, and drivability skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently
  • Own professional technician tools
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Maryland State Inspection License preferred, not required
