•Three (3) years minimum of automotive body technician experience with European vehicles

•Minimum of 4-5 ICAR courses

•Basic knowledge of auto parts, systems, tool usage and knowledge (tools are provided)

•Must be able to multi-task in all phases of body repair

•Results-driven with great organizational skills

•Great team-player, responsive and proactive

•Current Driver's License with a clean driving record

•High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must comply with company safety rules, guidelines and standards

•Ability to lift and/or move heavy auto body parts up to 100lbs•To qualify for employment, the top candidates must submit to a pre-employment investigation that includes a background check, MVR & drug testing

Responsibilities

•Assist with collision repair of damaged vehicles within center time lines and AIR quality standards

•Perform work in the priority order assigned by the Body Shop Manager

•Give adequate notice if a promised completion time cannot be achieved

•Recommend needed repairs or maintenance on cars as appropriate

•Familiarize and utilize all shop and manufacturer's memos, technical and service bulletins

•Ensure high standards of technical efficiency and ensure no supplies are wasted

•Keep work area well-organized and clean using safe work habits

•Perform miscellaneous tasks, duties and projects as needed

•Surroundings: Work is usually performed inside the shop where there is exposure to draft, noise and fumes from vehicles

European Coachworks of San Marcos is looking to hire a full-time Body Technician. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Pay is based on experience. European Coachworks is new to San Marcos. We have a new state of the art facility with the latest technology in tools, we have a clean and organized work environment.
