Description
As a part of our continued growth, we are looking for dedicated and passionate employees to grow with our company and excel at your highest abilities. At Snyder's Recycled Auto and Truck Parts, we strive to have the best supply and prices in Texas! Our plan to accomplish this goal is to provide quality recycled auto and truck parts using superior customer service at a price that will prove that used auto parts are the best value on the market today. As a Parts Puller, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Removing parts from vehicles in the yard, bull pen, and warehouse
  • Inspecting the part for quality and inventory accuracy
  • Presenting parts to the Quality Inspector or Production Manager
  • Transporting parts to their specified destination in a careful and safe manner
  • Receiving "Pull Slips" as assigned by production manager
  • Following instructions on all work orders
  • Quality checking to confirm that the part is a match
  • All miscellaneous parts must be tidied and policed before leaving the vehicle
  • Any spills that occur will need immediate clean up and resolution of the problem, any environmental concerns must be reported to the Production Manager
  • Ensuring that personal protective equipment (PPE), gloves, belt, safety glasses, and hard hat are worn at all times
  • Daily maintenance will be assigned, at least 1 vehicle will be assigned to Parts Puller to maintain and make repairs as needed
  • Required training courses to be maintained monthly
  • Meeting monthly performance goals
  • Attending weekly production meetings
  • Miscellaneous tasks will be assigned by Production Manager

Other Requirements:
  • High school graduate - NOT REQUIRED
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs repetitively and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Personal protective equipment required- hard hats and safety glasses, gloves and any other safety gear will be issued upon request
  • Fork lift RTF K586 preferred experience a plus!
  • Tools supplied by parts puller
